The Scheduler just asked if she should schedule our Official Sub (who used to be our cataloger) to help me catalog this summer. WHAT??!
No, actually, I'd prefer if you'd stop putting me on public desks in other people's places so I can stay caught up!
Which I basically told her, in slightly less incendiary terms: Really, thanks, but I'm usually caught up just fine, when we haven't dropped thousands of dollars all at once. Really. No, REALLY. Thanks. No.
Mind you, I'm typing this at the Kids Reference Desk because she is off doing something else right now. Yeah.
