Lyrics quiz

So, yeah, these were the first 5 songs I heard on Launchcast today:
If I had a tale that I could tell you
I'd tell a tale sure to make you smile
If I had a wish that I could wish for you
I'd make a wish for sunshine all the while
I’d love to tell you how the lovely girl you married
She´s been my hero and a treasure to us all
I know you´d be proud of the way your name´s been carried
These are things I would love to tell you if I could
I wish you were here to hear what I would say
They’d brought up some reinforcements
From the Illinoise National Guard.
There’s armored cars, and tanks, and jeeps,
And rigs of ev’ry size.
Every cheap hood strikes a bargain with the world
And ends up making payments on a sofa or a girl
Love 'n' hate tattooed across the knuckles of his hands
The hands that slap his kids around 'cause they don't understand

That’s why I wish I had a [title of song]
The "Boston Blackie" kind
A two-toned Ricky Ricardo jacket
And an autographed picture of Andy Devine
Anyone want to take any guesses on titles and/or artists? [WARNING: I seem to be living a bit in the past today....]
